Claude D. Beck, Jr., 93, of Milford, NJ, died on Sunday, December 15,
2013, at his home. Born: in Uhlerstown, PA, he was the son of the late
Claude D. Beck, Sr. and Gertrude Shuman Beck. Claude had been a resident
of Milford for over 50 years. Personal: He was a kiln operator with
Plesy Ceramics in Frenchtown for 49 years. He also worked as a driver for
Eichlin Oil in Frenchtown and as a shuttle driver for Flemington Car and
Truck Country. He was a US Army veteran of World War II serving in the
Pacific. He was an avid hunter. Memberships: A longtime member of the
Milford Presbyterian Church, Claude was a church trustee and served as
church sexton. Survivors: He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth
J. Hovey Beck; his beloved children, his son, and his wife Claude D. III
and Debbie Beck of Nazareth, PA; his son and his partner, Lee A. Beck
and Gary Franke of Solebury, PA; and his cherished granddaughter, Megan
Beck of Nazareth. Services: Memorial services will be announced at a
