Takes Own Life

A Town of Newfane youth died yesterday afternoon of a gunshot wound
to the head, State Police reported. Niagara County Coroner Kenneth
Sherrie listed the death of Clifford E. Lake III, 18, of 2720 Main St.,
as suicide. Troopers said the incident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. at
the youth's home.
