    White Rock -- Services for Curtis L. Lake, Sr., 85, will be held at
2 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2003 at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel.
Interment will follow in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens.  The family
will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

West Columbia, SC 29072 or to Bethel Lutheran Church, 1081 Dutch Fork
Road. White Rock, SC 29177.
    Mr. Lake died Tuesday, March 4, 2003.  Born in Little Mountain, he
was a son of the late Kirk David and Angie Boland Lake.  He was a life
insurance salesman with Liberty Life Insurance Company for 29 years.
Mr. Lake was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
    Surviving are his beloved wife of 58 years, Juanita Adams Lake of
White Rock; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah L. Willis of Gaston,
Ginger L. and Ron Brandt of Columbia; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas
M. "Mike" and Teresa Lake of Ridgeway, Curtis L. Jr. and June Lake
of Cayce; sister, Grace Lake; brother, Grover Lake, both of Columbia;
six grandchildren and four great-grandchildres.
