Born in Eugene, Oregon, USA, Cindy was an ESL teacher, decorative artist and loving wife, sister and godmother. Cindy appreciated the beauty and wonder of nature, especially her garden and tried to share this with everyone. Survived by husband, Louis; sister, Alicia (Michael) DiLeva; brother, Timothy (Rene) Lake and parents, Ralph and Alta Lake. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Friday, April 16, 2004 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Lynne Bandy officiating. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4A-214 Speedvale Ave. W., Guelph, N1H 1C4 or the charity of choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Cynthia Riklik in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph, Arboretum.
