Lake, Dagny J. age 87, White Bear Lake passed away July 24 with family
at her side. Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John. She was
born April 20, 1923 in Spring Grove, Minnesota and graduated from Spring
Grove High School. She also was a proud graduate of the Swedish Hospital
Nursing School. She married John R. Lake September 29, 1950 and they
lived in Cloquet, Minnesota before moving to White Bear Lake in 1958,
where they spent the rest of their years. Dagny was an RN at St. John's
Hospital for many years. Dagny and John were members of First Lutheran
Church in White Bear Lake for more than 50 years. Dagny and John enjoyed
travel, spending winters in Arizona, friends and especially family. Dagny
is survived by sons, Jack (Mamiko) and Philip (Vannessa); granddaughters,
Katrina, Chelsea, Natalie and Naomi; and sister, Beatrice Stoddard. She is
also survived by many nieces, nephews and other members of her extended
family, and by many friends. Funeral Service 10 AM Saturday, July 31,
2010, at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4000 Linden St, White Bear Lake. In lieu
of flowers, the family recommends contributions to Alzheimer's Disease
research at the University of Minnesota, c/o the Minnesota Medical
