This obit was published in the Lansing State Journal on 25 February, 2004. Lansing MI Lake, Dallas T. Lansing, MI Age 72, passed away Monday, February 23, 2004. Born March 11, 1931 in Flint, MI, the triplet son of William and Grace (Aylsworth) Lake. Dallas retired from Sparrow Hospital. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving his country with the U.S. Army. He was a Life member of both the D.A.V., 40 et 8 and V.F.W. #701. Dallas served as Past Commander of the Haslett American Legion Post #4098 and Past Governor of Lansing Moose #288. He was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 6 brothers. Surviving are his loving wife, Gloria; 7 children; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, 10 AM, with Rev. Gordon Weller of St. Paul's Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will follow at 2 PM with Military Honors at Fort Custer National Cemetery, August, MI. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel.
