THE HUTCHINSON NEWS, HUTCHINSON, RENO COUNTY, KS PUBLISHED ONLINE Tuesday, March 18, 2003 RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. - Dana Dea Lake Trump, passed away on March 12, 2003, after a brief illness. She was a retired teacher's aide in the Palos Verdes School District, having spent many years in the classroom at Soleado Elementary School. The daughter of Dan and Lillian Lake, Dana was born March 6 1942, in Eureka, Kansas, and lived in several small towns in western Kansas including Hill City, Lake City and Meade. After graduating from Meade High School and Fort Hays State University in Kansas, Dana worked in the Kansas City area as a fifth grade teacher. Dana and her husband Dave were married July 3, 1966, after a brief time in New York, they moved to Southern California in 1967. She was a mother and homemaker in Rancho Palos Verdes for the past 34 years. She is survived by her husband Dave; her son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Marcene Trump; her daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Kainalu Lee; and her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Grant Rogers. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Sacred Heart Chapel on the campus of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles at noon, Tuesday March 18, 2003. Another service at the family ranch in Lake City, Kansas is being planned for the Memorial Day weekend this year. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Lake City Methodist Church Scholarship Fund, Lake City, Kansas 67071.
