Danny Boyd Lake, 1942-2010

Services for Mr. Danny Boyd Lake, 67, of Winnsboro, will be held at 11
a.m. today, Thursday, at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sue Gross
officiating.

Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Wood County.

Mr. Lake died on Monday, June 28, 2010 in Winnsboro.

Survivors  include his wife, Patricia Lake, son, Ray Lake and wife,
Tammy, of Beaumont, daughter, Matt, Frisco, father, Kermit Lake, sister,
Kay Castolenia and husband, Lawrence, Pagosa Springs, CO, 6 grandchildren,
Jeremy, Misty, Madison, Dakota, John and Donny, and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was born Dec. 27, 1942 in Jacksonville to Kermit and Marie Jeannette
Hopwood Lake.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Pruitt.

A Veteran of the United States Navy, he was also and Army reservist,
a retired Mesquite Police officer, a member of the Texas Cattleman's
Association and a member of Tinney Chapel United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be members of the Mesquite Police Honor Guard.

Grove Cemetery.  Mr. Lake died June 28, 2010 He was born Dec. 27, 1942.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lake, Winnsboro, son Ray Lake and
wife Tammy, Beaumont, daughter, Christiine Hildreth and husband Matt,
Frisco; sister, Kay Castoenia and husband Lawrence, Pagossa Springs,
Cole.; brother, Ricky Pruitt, Colorado, and six grandchildren.
