Darrell Lynn Lake May 27, 1964 - July 3, 2006 Darrell Lynn Lake,
42, passed away July 3, 2006. He was born May 27, 1964 at Cannon AFB,
Clovis, NM. He was a native of Grand Junction for 24 years and spent the
remainder of his life in North Carolina. He worked as a tile and marble
installer in NC mostly with his brother David. He was preceded in death
by his grandfather, Nicolas C. Lake; uncle, Richard Ottman; and nephew,
Clyde Ottman. He is survived by his father and mother, Harold D. and
Zelda M. Lake; grandmother, Lucille Lake; brother, David K. Lake;
sister, Danette Marie Lake; sister and brother-in-laws, Debbie and
Emery Welsh, Rebecca and Ron Carfield, Sherry and Steve Maynes; brother
and sister-in-law, Richard and Lee Smith; three aunts, Carol Ottman,
Darlene Hinkle, Pat Lake; two uncles, Dick Lake, Norval Hinkle; eleven
nieces, nine nephews, one great-niece and two great-nephews. Darrell
enjoyed camping, boating with his brother and sister, and fishing with
his brother. A private memorial service will be held in Grand Junction,
Wednesday, July 12, 2006.
