LAKE, David Edwin Lot 
January 10, 1932 to May 29, 2009 
With great sadness we announce the passing of Dave. Predeceased by his
parents David and Thelma Lake, and his sister Beverley. Dave is survived
by his wife Audrey, children Glenda, Dan (Frances), Shannon (Daryl), Linda
(Dave), Alan (Nora) and Janet (James), grandchildren Bryan, Michael,
Nicholas, Anna, Jonathan, Allison, Shawn, Megan and Devon. First a
musician (playing the accordion and the organ) and later a tinkerer,
ham radio operator (VE7L0T) and builder of all things. Dave's smiling
face and gentle ways will be sorely missed by all, especially his wife
and best friend Audrey. Family and especially the grandchildren were
always his favourite topics of conversation and he was extremely proud
of all. Special Thanks to Dr. Cook, 4 South staff at VGH and of course
to all the staff at Selkirk Place who took such good care of Dave in his
last months. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Open
