Delbert O. Lake, 81, of Ormond Beach, Fla., widower of Dorothy Hedrick
Lake, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at his residence.

He was born on June 4, 1925, in Versailles. His interests included golf,
yard work, and all types of gardening.

Survivors include a brother, Gene "Morgan" Snapp, Georgetown; two sons,
Jim Sr., Sebring, Fla., and David, Titusville, Fla.; two daughters,
Patty Kunkel, Alachua, Fla., and Karla Shepard, St. Paul, Va.; and
seven grandchildren, Jimmy, Dustin, Jason, Alex, and Lindsey Kunkel,
and Susanna and Gillian Shepard.

A memorial service will be conducted Friday, Sept. 29, at Volusia Memorial
Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Fla., by the Rev. Jim Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of
Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Tr., Port Orange, FL 32129.
