LAKE, Dennis Allan - Suddenly on August 27, 2000, Mr. Dennis Lake was
released from years of pain and called Home to be with his Lord and
Savior.  Dennis was 60 years old.
    Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Sharon;
daughter, Shannon (Todd) Weekes and their children, Paiton, Dakota and
Savannah, all of Edmonton; and son, Troy of Roanoke, Virginia.  Dennis
is survived by his mother, Lydia Wolfe of Edmonton; brothers, Brian
(Sharon) Lake of Sarnia, ON, Dr. David (Dorothy) Lake of Portland,
Oregon; sister, Barbara (Deo) Ramnath of Edmonton; as well as numerous
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.  He was predeceased by his
father, Albie in 1977; and an infant sister.
    Visitation will be on Thursday, August 31, 2000 from 7:30-9:00 p.m.
at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311-91 Street.  A Funeral Service will be
held at Greenfield Baptist Church, 3712-114 Street on Friday, September
1, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Stefano Piva and Pastor Ralph Korner
officiating.  Interment to follow at South Haven Cemetery.  If friends
so desire memorial donations may be made to the Crohns and Colitis
Foundation or the North American Baptist College.
