Dennis "Doug" Case, 73, of Phillipsburg, passed away on February 15, 2015
at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was born on February 16, 1941
in Easton, Pa. Dennis was the son of the late Harvey and Elizabeth Nemeth
Case. He was employed with Atlantic States as a furnace operator for many
years. Years ago, he was a volunteer with the Oxford Fire Company. Dennis
attended the Blessed Hope Church of the Nazarene, Phillipsburg. He is
survived by his beloved wife Hilda E. Kels Case, his children; James W. Case
and his wife Annette, of Bath, Pa., and Mitchell R. Case, of Easton. His
grandchildren, Meghan Case and Robert Case. His siblings, Beverly Coccia,
of Whitehall, Pa. and Sharon Bush, of Oxford, NJ. He was predeceased
by a son Dennis D. Case, Jr. and siblings, Frank Case, Lilian Burns,
Helen Hartzell, Flora Lyons and Marion Dushok. A service will be held on
Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11am in the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman
St. Phillipsburg. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015
from 6 to 8PM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Northampton
Memorial Shrine, Palmer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the
funeral home.
