She was born in Masontown, Pa., May 30, 1948, daughter of Esther Hovatter Bolyard, of Flemington, and the late Clarence Bolyard. She was a member of First Grace Brethren Church in Grafton. She is survived by a son, Darrell Gregory (Greg) Lake, of Kings Bay, Ga.; two daughters, Cynthia Gina Lake Roper, of Kingland, Ga., and Rin Athelia Lake Shorter, of Grafton; three brothers, Charles Bolyard, Ralph Bolyard and Carroll Bolyard, all of Graft on; three sisters, Margie Shahan, of Levittsburg, Jeanny Strader, of Grafton, and Ruby Hovatter, of Leaksville, Miss.; and six grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lake, April 15, 1992. Friends may call at Barlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
