DOMINICK ANTHONY MOGLIA New Windsor, N.Y. Dominick Anthony Moglia, of New Windsor, owner of House of Kitchens in Newburgh and long time area resident, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 in St. Luke's Hospital, Newburgh. He was 65. The son of the late Andrew and Agnes Trapini Moglia, he was born September 28, 1937 in New York City. Mr. Moglia proudly served his country in the National Guard. He was a loving husband and devoted father. His grandchildren were his heart, as they brought as much joy to him as he gave to them. All who he touched knew how giving he was, both family and friends alike. Through his long confining illness, never did he complain. He is sadly missed and will never be forgotten. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth Inglima Moglia at home; his son, Dominick Anthony Moglia Jr. and his wife, Jill, of Newburgh; two sisters, Theresa Muller of Florida and Jennie Carroll and her husband, Joseph, of Florida; three grandchildren, Dominick Anthony III, Michael Thomas, and Gabrielle Moglia; his mother-in-law, Josephine Antonelli DiPaolo of New Windsor, daughter-in-law, Cathy Lorgan of New Windsor, sisters-in-law, Rosemarie Lionoto and her husband, John, of Newburgh, Phyllis Lake and her husband, Tom, of Wappingers Falls, Barbara Rounds and her husband, Phil, of Marlboro; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Andrew Moglia, who passed away in 1995. Family will receive their friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 4 at the Brooks-DiDonato Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 5 at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, with military honors. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Moglia Grandchildren Scholarship Fund in memory of Dominick.
