Dona Fern Lakin Erskine Burden

Dona Fern Lakin Erskine Burden, 78, of Pueblo, passed away Friday, June
18, 1999. Born on Oct. 30, 1920, the daughter of Florence May Wigren
Lakin and Arthur Pitcher Lakin. She was married in the Salt Lake City
Latter-day Saints Temple to Maxwell Gordon Erskine. He died in March
1949. She then married Robert Ross Burden in 1950. She is survived by her
husband, Robert; son, Gordon D.  (Pauline) Erskine of Lakewood; daughter,
Claudia L. (Eugene) Marvin of Willow Springs, Mo.; grandchildren, Cynthia
(Tim) Hull of Brighton, Mo., Edward and Eric Marvin of Pleasant Hope,
Mo., and Catherine Marvin of Willow Springs, Mo.; a sister, Lila Winward
of Salt Lake City, Utah; and two nephews and four nieces.  Funeral service
will be held at the Adrian Comer Garden Chapel on Thursday, June 24, 1999,
at 11 a.m. Interment at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be
held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior
to the service on Thursday. Donations may be made in her memory to the
Sangre de Cristo Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
