Donald E. Lake, 87, Venice, died July 15, 2002.
He was born Sept. 2, 1914, in Iowa and came to Venice in 1982 from Columbus
Township, Ill. He was a truck driver for Allied Van Lines and a member of
New Hope Baptist Church, Englewood.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Stockton of Chicago; a grandchild; and
two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. July 29, with a service to follow, at
New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Gulf Pines Memorial Park.
Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, is in charge.
