BRIDGEPORT -- Donald F. Lake, 50, of 216 North Chestnut St., Clarksburg,
died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, in Morgantown.  He was born Oct. 13, 1949,
in Clarksburg, a son of Mary Jean Lake, Clarksburg.  His wife, Leslie
Queen Lake, whom he married Aug. 21, 1993, survives.  Also surviving
are two daughters, Nicole and Natalie Lake, Clarksburg; one grandson,
Troy Mathew Lowther, Clarksburg; and one stepbrother, Dennis Spencer,
Las Vegas, Nev.  Mr. Lake graduated from Victory High School in 1968,
having also served in the U.S. Air Force.  He was an insurance and
investment representative with Oliverio Insurance Agency.  Friends will
be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Ave., Bridgeport,
from 1-8 p.m. Thursday, where the funeral service will be held at 10
a.m. Friday. Full military services will be accorded at the cemetery
with the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post No. 573 and the Clarksburg American
Legion Post No. 13.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory
of Donald F. Lake to the Harrison County Humane Society, Route 2, Box 932,
Shinnston, WV, 26431.
