Doris Berg-Johnsen Kuhl Lake, 89 of Dushore, Pa., formerly of Smoke Rise,
N.J., Casey Key, Fla., and Danville, Calif. died Sept. 4, 2011.

Doris was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl Walter Kuhl II,
and Robert Day Lake; son, John C. Kuhl; grandson, Benjamin B-J Perry;
and great-granddaughter, Emma Perry.

She is survived by children: Karen Goduto, Dallas, Pa.; Doris Perry,
Shrewsbury, Vt.,; Carl Walter Kuhl III, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Kathy Kuhl,
Pottstown, Pa.; Kris Buchanan, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; step children: Elizabeth
Goldin, Aurora, Colo.; Steve Lake, San Francisco, Calif.; Lyn Civitello,
San Ramon, Calif.; Karen Zimmerman, Martinez, Calif.; 16 grandchildren;
18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; cousin, Dora
Steen Johansen, Trondheim, Norway; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the
Sullivan County Library or the Sullivan County Food Pantry, both in
Dushore, PA 18614. A private memorial service is planned.
