Doris Lucille Lake
September 29, 1919 - November 17, 2009
Doris Lucille Lake passed away on November 17, 2009. She was 90 years
old. Lucille was born in Trinidad, Colorado on September 29, 1919 to
James Ned Ritchey and Helena Cleora (Stanbaugh) Ritchey. She married
Nicholas Cecil Lake in Moab, Utah on September 30, 1948. Lucille was a
home maker who enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing cards. Her family
was her life. She was preceded in death by both parents; eight siblings;
her husband, Cecil; a son, Cecil Richard 'Dick' Lake; her sons-in-law,
Richard A. Ottman and O. Doyle Park, and two grandsons, Clyde D. Ottman
and Darrell L. Lake.  Lucille is survived by two daughters, D. Darlene
(Norval) Hinkle and Carol Ottman, and a son, Harold D. (Zelda) Lake all
of Grand Junction, CO; daughter-in-law, Patricia A. Lake, of Alice,
TX; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and nine great great
grandchildren. Lucille was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church. At
her request, a private family service will be held at Memorial Gardens.
