Doris Mildred Lake Desponett, 94, of Leland, Ill., formerly of
Lawrenceburg, widow of Bernice 'Bill' Desponett, died Thursday, Aug. 9,
2012 in Illinois.  She was born in Woodford County to the late Abraham
and Ella Sanders Lake.  She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel
Baptist Church in Mercer County.  She is survived by two daughters,
Mildred A. Holliday, Lawrenceburg, Elois B. (Tony) Flickenstein, Florida;
two sons, Jimmy (Carol) Desponett, Lawrenceburg, Harold (Edith) Desponett,
Leland, Ill.; nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and three great
great grandchildren; two sisters, Alene Long, Harrodsburg, Annelle White,
Florida; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by
a brother, Ernest Lake.  Services were held Aug. 13 at Lawrenceburg
Cemetery with Bro. Kenneth Meredith officiating. Burial followed in
Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to American
Leukemia Association.  Casketbearers will be Desponett's grandsons.

11 a.m. Monday at Lawrenceburg Cemetery

She died Thursday. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Gash Memorial
Chapel.
