From THE REGISTER-GUARD, Eugene, Oregon, 12 May 2000, obituaries: DORMILLIE "PEGGY" EARL ELMIRA--Dormillie F. "Peggy" Earl of Elmira died May 6 of cancer. She was 59. She was born July 16, 1940, in Yankton, S.D. to Francis and Dormillie Woodward Brewer. She married Harold Earl in Bend on Dec. 16, 1979. Earl lived in Eugene from 1959 until 1979, when she moved to Crooked River Ranch. In 1988, she moved to Prineville and then to Elmira three months ago. Earl worked several years in local mills and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Adele Eichler of Monroe and Susan Page of Coquille; a son, Richard Lake of Eugene; a brother, Ty Brewer of Eldon, Mo.; and five grandchildren. A daughter Victoria Weathers, and a son, Raymond Lake, both died previously. No service will be held. Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
