Dorothy Daugherty
SHREVE - Dorothy Eileen Daugherty, 80, 8636 Newkirk Road, went home
to be with her Lord on Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, at her residence after a
short illness.

Memorial services will be Saturday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral
Home, Sherwood Chapel, 7067 Cleveland Road, Wooster, with Pastor Durham
officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of
Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.

She was born June 13, 1925, in Big Prairie to Carl and Pearl (Smail)
Lake and was a 1943 graduate of Big Prairie High School.

She had worked for the former Wooster Rubber in the 1950s, the Coca Cola
Bottling Co. in the 1960s and retired from the Wooster Brush Co. in 1991,
with 25 years of service.

She enjoyed gardening, watching hummingbirds, crocheting and hearing
from her extended family at the Wooster Brush Co.

Dorothy will be sadly missed by a son, Ronald (Nancy) Daugherty,
a brother, Raymond Dean Lake and special friend, Eloise Bowman, all
of Shreve; grandchildren, Renee Ferrara of Loganville, Ga., Rodney
Daugherty of Vidalia, La., and Jennifer (Wolfgang) Meyerin of Grove City;
and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle and Kaitlyn Ferrara and Wolfgang
Meyerin II.

Her parents died previously.
