Published in the Press-Enterprise on 10/3/2008 Riverside CA NORCO DOROTHY I. (LAKE) SULLIVAN Passed away on October 1, 2008, surrounded by her family, at the home of her son, Joe M. Sullivan. Dorothy was born in Milford,Utah on March 7, 1916, moving to California as a baby. She lived her 92 years in California. While attending Fullerton Junior College, she met and married her husband of 52 years, Franklin Sullivan. They were married on January 7, 1937. They were involved in community affairs in Buena Park before and after it became a city. Dorothy was an accomplished artist. Her family was her treasure. She is survived by her son, Joe and daughter-in-law Sue of Norco; daughter, Kerry and son-in-law Wallace Johnson of Hemet; four grandchildren, Rory, Shelly, Randy and Joey and their spouses; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Dorothy was blessed to be an active and loving part of five generations. In 1988, Dorothy moved to Hemet and lived with her daughter, Kerry, until this past year. A memorial will be held on Mon., October 6, 2008 at 1pm at West Grand Baptist Church in Corona. Dorothy's 92 years of life were filled with love for her Lord Jesus, for her family and for her country.
