ROGERS, Dorothy Margaret (Lake) - After a courageous battle with cancer
in her 59th year on Monday April 17, 2006 Dorothy succumbed to her
illness and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones in St.
Peter's Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. Dearly beloved mother of Tim
and Jamie Rogers and devoted grandmother to Courtney. Dorothy was
predeceased by mother Jacqueline Francis (1982) and brother Arthur Lake
(1970). She will be sadly missed by siblings Debbie (Terry) Proulx, Bob
Lake, Porky (Lori) Lake, Kim (Scott) Burns, Sharon Lake (Paul), Kelly
(Lee), Darlene Mitchell (Pete). She is also survived by many nieces and
nephews. Dorothy will be missed and fondly remembered by long time friend
Diane Ilton. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be
held for Dorothy at a family members. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
