She was a retired cook having worked at several local restaurants in Kanawha County. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Loretta Tucker. Surviving: daughter, Nancy Ashwoth of St. Albans; sons, Ronald L. of Charleston, Carl Wayne of Belle, Robert W. Jr. of Tazwell, Va.; sisters, Evelyn Young and Betty Shaw of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Russell Lake of Michigan; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Stevens and Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Bill Hoyle officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
