Dorothy R. Lake, 79, Corydon, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at Veteran's
Administration Medical center in Louisville.

A native of Buffalo, N.Y., born March 11, 1925, she was the daughter of
the late Thomas r. and Gladys Morrison Babbitt.

She was a homemaker and an Army Veteran of World War II.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lake.

Survivors include a son, Dan Lake of Manlius, N.Y.; two daughters,
Karen Robbins of Lancaster, Calif., and Jan Lake of Rosamond, Calif.;
a niece and nephew, Marianne and Thomas Will, both of Georgetown, who
cared for her, and six grandchildren.

The body was cremated. Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon handled
the arrangements.
