Dorothy Sheppard

TEGA CAY -- Mrs. Dorothy Jeanne Lake Sheppard, 81, of 11070 Deep Cove
Drive died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at home.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Monday at Wolfe Funeral Home chapel
in Fort Mill, with the Rev. Ken Lake Jr. officiating.

A native of Custer, S.D., Mrs. Sheppard was a daughter of the late Horace
James Lake and Nora Burke Lake. She graduated from Rapid City High School
in South Dakota and attended the University of Nebraska. She was a flight
attendant for Western Airlines and was employed as a supervisor at the
Beaver County Medical Center. She was the widow of Ralph Sheppard.

Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Fuhs of Gaithersburg, Md.; two sons,
Craig Sheppard of Tega Cay and Gary Sheppard of Glendale, Ariz.; and
four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home after the service.
