Born March 26, 1910, in Somerville, Mass., she was the daughter of Frank W. and Lucy E. (Whitney) Komenda. She had resided in Kingston for the past 40 years, and she was a member of the Kingston Congregational Church, a former member of the Kingston Fire Department Auxiliary and a former Girl Scout Leader in Kingston. She was a former member of the Raymond Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She worked several years as telephone operator for the New England Telephone Co. Her family includes her husband of 50 years, John C. Lake of Kingston; a daughter, Lucy E. Johnson of Sarasota Fla; two sons, George S. (Stan) Haywood of Exeter and Frederick W (Fred) Haywood of Kissimee Fla; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara I Clement of Portsmouth and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine Street, Exeter. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday during the calling hours. The Rev.
