BEAVER DAMS - Earl W. Lake, 80, of Main St, died Sunday, March 31,
1985 in Corning Hospital.

He was born 29 Nov 1904 in Hornby the son of Bert and Anna Wallworth
Lake. He and Dorothy Guernsey were married May 19, 1938 in Chambers. She
survives.

He was a self-employed farmer and also worked for Lane Construction
Co. retiring in 1963. He was a member of Grace Lee Memorial Wesleyan
Church in Chambers.

Also surviving are a daugther, Elise (Mrs Dennis) Lockhart of Binghamton;
three sons, Harold of Windsor, Howard of Guilford and Ronald of
Binghamton; two sisters, Edith Velie of Spring Hills, FL and Bertha
(Mrs James) Phillips of Campbell; a brother, Alvah Lake of Odessa;
eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours at Carpenter's Funeral home in Corning will be 2-4 and 7-9
pm Tuesday. Services will be at the Grace Lee Memorial Wesleyan church
Wednesday at 11 am Officiating will be the Rev. Roy Straub, Rev. Bond
Harlan and the Rev. Gerald Jack.

Burial will be in Central Valley Cemetery, Hornby.
