 Obituary:  Edna Stevenson

 Edna M. Stevenson, 88, of Columbia died Monday, April 17, 2000, at
Candlelight Lodge.

 Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at Lindley
Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial will be in the Wheeling Cemetery
in Wheeling. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 19,
and from 8 a.m. until services Thursday at the funeral home. There will
be a family visitation from 12:30 p.m. until services Thursday at the
funeral home.

 Mrs. Stevenson was born Nov. 9, 1911, in Wheeling to Albert Levi and
Jeanette Brobst Lake.

 She married Robert Stevenson on Sept. 29, 1931, in Chula, and he preceded
her in death.

 She was a homemaker and a member of the Wheeling Baptist Church.

 Survivors include five daughters, Mary Anderson and Annabelle Brockmeier,
both of Columbia, Shirley Reed of Blue Springs, Joyce O'Molly of
Scammon, Kan., and Jamie Isaacs of Harrisburg; 15 grandchildren; 20
great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

 She was also preceded in death by a daughter and a grandchild.
