EFFIE E KISHBAUGH, 84, formerly of 1212 E. Third St., Nescopeck, died at
3:10 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2002, at Grandview Health Homes, Danville, where
she had lived since March 4, 1997.
Born April 24, 1918, in Weston, She was a daughter of the late Raymond and
Edith Keen Kahley.
Mrs. Kishbaugh had worked at area garment factories until retiring.
She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church,Berwick.
She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, gardening and doing crossword puzzles.
Her husband, Walter J. Kishbaugh, died May 31, 1989. A sister and four
brothers also died previouly. Mrs. Kishbaugh was the lst member of her
immediate family.
She is survived by four children: Mrs. Eugene (Jeanne) Harvey, Kingston, NJ;
Mrs Eugene (Patricia) Miller, Nuremberg, PA; Thomas Kishbaugh, Hemit, CA;
and James Kishbaugh, rural Berwick; 10 grandchildren and four great
grandchilren.
Funeral services willbe 9:45 a.m Wednesday at the Heller Funeral Home,
Nescopeck, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial at St.
Mary's Roman Catholic Church, with her pastor, the Rev. Francis j Tamburro,
officating. Burial will be in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
