The Daily Gleaner; Fredricton NB Canada; 2005-5-21 LAKE, EILEEN AGNES - Eileen Agnes Lake, wife of the late William Lake, of Fredericton, NB, passed away surrounded by her family, on May 20, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 2, 1919 in Joggins, Cumberland Co., Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Nellie (Blanche) Brien. Eileen loved her 110 McKnight Street neighbours, all her friends and her home city of Fredericton. Her joy of life included her family travel and playing bridge with her life long friends. Her strong faith sustained her through her life and will bless her on her next journey. Eileen is survived by three sons, William Lake of Truro, NS, Bruce Lake of Calgary, AB and Richard Lake (Sarah) of Toronto, ON; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Katherine Forrest (Frank) of BC; sisterin-law, Marion Brien of Fredericton, NB; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by two brothers, Ken and Lloyd; and two sisters, Theresa and Mary. Visitation will take place Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 23rd, 2005 at 11 am from Saint Theresa's Church with Rev. John Jennings officiating. Interment will take place at Hermitage Cemetery, Fredericton, NB.
