Agawam Advertiser News; Feeding Hills MA; 2003-5-8 Eleanor M. Mascriotra 1925 - 2003 AGAWAM - Eleanor M. (Lake) Masciotra, 77, of 23 Meadowbrook Manor, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 4, 2003 in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Springfield, she was a 1943 graduate of Technical High School. She grew up in Springfield then lived in Clearwater, FL for many years before moving to Agawam in 1997. Eleanor had worked as a ward secretary for the former Wesson Memorial Hospital. She was a past member of the Italian American Veterans Club in East Longmeadow, a past member of the Moose Club in Clearwater, a past member of the Agawam Bowling League and had attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Springfield. She leaves her husband of fifty-six years, Antonio Masciotra, two daughters, Janet M. Masciotra of Springfield, Mary A. and her husband Thomas Kelly of McHenry, Illinois, two sisters, Lorraine Williams of West Warren, Beatrice Alves of East Longmeadow, two grandchildren, Breanna Kelly and Bryce Kelly, a godchild, Laurie Klafeta of Agawam and several nephews and nieces. She was pre-deceased by two sons, Michael J. Masciotra who died in 1988 and Richard P. Masciotra who died in 1992. The burial will be at the convenience of the family.
