Sr., died Thursday evening in South Jersey Hospital-Newcomb, after a brief illness. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she lived most of her life in Millville. She worked for Wheaton Industries as a repacker in quality control. She was a member of the Newcombtown Methodist Church of Millville, where she volunteered at the church barbecues. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, needlepoint and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by two sons, Gregory of Dorchester, and Joel and his wife Ligaya of Hopewell; three daughters, Catherine Taylor and her husband Fletcher of Cedarville, Elizabeth Thomas of Millville, and Sharon Grooms of Wildwood; one sister Lillian Warner with whom she resided; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 8 p.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. There will be a viewing Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
