Elizabeth M. Laker Batta Age 81, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007 in
Indianapolis. Mrs. Batta retired in 2002 after 22 years as a secretary
for Hill Top Press. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church,
its Women's Club Choir and the Red Hat Society. She was the widow
of Howard F. Batta. Surviving are her children, Charlene E. Murello,
Kevin H. (Marsha) Batta, Joann E. (John) Dickey and Catherine (Bert)
Hannenman. She was the sister of the late Robert Laker. She had 9
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Lauck
Funeral Home from 4-8 PM on Friday, Nov. 16, 2007. Her funeral service
will be on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 9:30 AM in Lauck Funeral Home followed
by a Mass at St. Patrick Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary
Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association
or to the Kidney Foundation.
