Schaffer Lake 1943 - 2002 SPRINGFIELD - Elleese Faith Schaffer Lake, 58, died at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY on Friday, January 11, 2002. She was baptized as a servant of Jehovah in May of 1987 and continued faithful until her last breath. She worked for the past eight years at the Center for Human Development as an adult caregiver for the mentally challenged. She was a caretaker of many who needed her, often looking past her own health needs. She will be dearly missed. She was the daughter of the late Lottie Maulden and George Schaffer, both of Springfield, MA; step-daughter of Curtis Lee Maulden, also of Springfield, MA. Devoted mother of Clayland L. Lake Jr. of Springfield, MA, Dianna Renae LeFevre of Albany, NY; and son-in-law, William R. LeFevre Jr. of Albany, NY. Also survived by three grandchildren, Jordan L. Malone, Alexander X. W. LeFevre, and Deion J. LeFevre, all of Albany, NY. She is the sister of the late Joan Thompson. She leaves behind also two sisters, NeeAnn Williams of Denver, CO and Bernadette Jacobs of Springfield, MA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. There are no calling hours. Memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 131 Clifton Avenue, Springfield, MA on Saturday, January 19th, 2002 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions in Elleese's name to the Plumtree Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 131 Clifton Avenue, Springfield, MA 01105 or Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
