Elva C. Knight 
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Elva Cleo Knight, 91, died Sept. 29, 2006 at
LaCrosse Health and Rehabilitation Center, Coeur d'Alene.  She was born
Nov. 15, 1914, in Blue Mound, the daughter of Oliver and Eva Prevost
Lake. She graduated from Blue Mound High School in 1932 and attended
several sessions of cooking school at a later time. A resident of Coeur d'
Alene, formerly of Blue Mound, Ottawa, Topeka and Dighton, she worked as a
cook for the Beeler school district for 11 years and was a homemaker and
farmer until retirement in 1973.  On March 14, 1940, she married Albert
H. Knight in Fort Scott. He died Sept. 28, 1976.  Survivors include:
a son; three daughters; two sisters; a brother; 11 grandchildren; and
17 great-grandchildren.  Funeral was Wednesday at Blue Mound Methodist
Church. Dengel and Son Mortuary, Ottawa, is in charge of arrangements.
