Emery M. "Nicky" Erickson, 97, of Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing
died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, in the facility.

She was born March 15, 1913, in Clearfield, Pa., a daughter of Edwin
and Mollie Smith Case.

She graduated from Little Valley High School in 1932.

She will be remembered as a wonderful seamstress and baker.

Surviving are 17 nieces and nephews, including Lorna Colburn who was
her caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Erickson, whom she
married Oct. 15, 1949, and who died April 17, 1996; five brothers: Edwin,
Merris, Alton, Arthur and Charles Case; and three sisters: May Liebler,
Agnes Capron and Iola Wachter.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will not be observed.
