Enoree Metze Lake, Prosperity

                       Mrs. Enoree Metze Lake, 92, formerly of 1417 Stoney
                       Hill Road, widow of Herman Eugene Lake, died
                       Sunday, June 18, 2000, at White Oak Manor in
                       Newberry.

                       Survivors: a daughter, Mrs. Heyward (Gaynell)
                       Amick of Prosperity; sons, Alton E. (Ruby) Lake,
                       John David (Bertha) Lake and Larry M. (Emily) Lake,
                       all of Prosperity; sisters, Clara Henderson and Ola
                       Mae Long; a brother, Elbert Metze.

                       Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at McSwain-Evans
                       Funeral Home. Service: 4 p.m. Tuesday at St.
                       Peter Lutheran Church. Burial: church ceme tery.
