    Eric Lake of Lake Worth FL entered into eternal rest on July 28, 2015 at home. He was 68 years old.

    The son of Ralph and Helen (Graham) Lake, Eric was born on April 27, 1947 in Newburgh, NY.

    A family statement reads: "He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather; a caring person to both family and friends. He was a great story teller and had a smile that could light up a room."

    Eric is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Darlene Lake; step daughter, Victoria Stong; granddaughters: Jasmine Lake and Casey Nunez, all of Florida; brothers: Ralph Lake and his wife, Donna, Terry Lake, Bruce Lake and his wife, Ruthann, all of Myrtle Beach, SC; twin and best friend, Ed Lake and his wife, Linda of Newburgh; sisters: Marion Patterson of Newburgh, Susan Coonan of New Windsor, Sally Helmrich of New Windsor, Lynne Lake of Cornwall-on-Hudson; brother-in-law, Curt Monell of Newburgh; several nieces and nephews.

    Eric is predeceased by his sister, Helen Monell; brother-in-law, Charlie Patterson and first wife, Lucille Rinaudo.

    At Eric's request, there were no services.
