Esther B. Coombs, 91, died December 13, 1999 in Salinas, CA.
Born January 2, 1908 in Davis County, MO to Robert Owen and Nora Townsend
Lake. Married Albert Ephriam Coombs on September 25, 1927.
He preceded her in death on June 18, 1964. Esther was also preceded in death
by her son, Albert Harry Coombs and her daughter-in-law, Lucille Coombs.
Esther loved her family and friends; she was always eager to visit with
them. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading and traveling. She will be
missed by all who knew her.
Survived by her sons, Robert William (Lucille) Coombs; Donald James (Eileen)
Coombs; daughter-in-law, Nola B. (Albert H.) Coombs; 14 grandchildren; 42
great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 20, 1999 in the LaJara, CO
LDS Chapel. Friends and family may call at Rodgers Family Mortuary, Alamosa,
CO on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. Interment in Sanford, CO.
