July 17, 2009 Dresden Transcript Dresden, Ohio Ethel G. lake Ethel G. lake, 95, of Frazeysburg, died July 8, 2009 in Coshocton Memorial Hospital. Born October 13, 1913 in Jackson Township of Muskingum County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Bryant) McKee and was Christian by faith. Mrs. Lake was a homemake and was also a Registered Nurse working as a self-employed home health care provider. She was a former employee of Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. She was an accomplished seamstress and made clothing for many area residents. Surviving are one daughter, Gladys "Judy" McFarland of Frazeysburg; two grandchildren, Shirley (Dennis) Nethers and Marvin (Rose) Jungling, Sr., both of Frazeysburg; eight great-grandchildren, Amber (Richard) Stretton of Newark, Bobbi (Steven) Canterbury, Sr. of Nashport, Carrie (Matthew) Crawford of Adamsville, Danielle Lowe, Marvin Jungling, Jr. and Zackery Jungling, all of Frazeysbuerg, Ashley (Joshua) Gill of East Fultonham, and Marie Jungling of Coshocton; 15 great-great-grandchildren; a special friend, Tim Deckard of Frazeysburg, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Ernest Lake, who died August 15, 1984; four brothers, Ernest, Carl, Eugene and French McKee; two sister's, Clara Acord and Ada Lacy; and two sons-in-law, Frank E. Jungling who died December 24, 1984 and Gus McFarland, who died January 25, 2000. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 11, at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Frazeysburg with the Rev. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
