Ethel K. Dressel, age 75, of New Paltz died Monday, September 26, 2011
at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, Newburgh, NY.

Mrs. Dressel was born June 17, 1936 in Fremont Center, NY, the daughter
of the late Harold and the late Eleanor (Ebert) Kellam. She married
Roderick Dressel August 17, 1957 in Callicoon, NY.

Ethel was retired from Dressel Farm, New Paltz, NY in 2009. She was
the Senior Elder at the Reformed Church of New Paltz, and a member of
the P.E.O.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Kaplan Hospice
residence and Valley View staff for their dedicated care.

Ethel is survived by her husband, Roderick Dressel at home; daughter
& son-in-law, Joy & Jeff Crist of Walden, NY; son & daughter-in-law,
Rod & Debra Dressel, Jr. of New Paltz, NY; grandchildren, Jennifer,
Joel, and Jedidiah Crist; Timothy, Sarah, & Elizabeth Dressel; sister,
Eleanor Wilcox of Roscoe, NY; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and
Patricia Kellam of Liberty, NY; brother, Paul Kellam of Fremont Center,
NY; and many nieces and nephews.

Ethel was predeceased by her Son, David Dressel.

Calling hours will be Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Copeland
Funeral Home, Inc., 162 South Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, NY. The
funeral will be Monday, October 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. at The Reformed Church
of New Paltz, 92 Huguenot St., New Paltz with Rev. Howard Major III
officiating. Burial will follow in New Paltz Rural Cemetery, 81 Plains
Rd., New Paltz, NY.
