Salt Lake Tribune & Deseret News Salt Lake City UT 2002-12-19 Ethel Leek Sturges Beloved Wife and Mother Ethel Leek Sturges, age 80, passed away December 16, 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born February 10, 1922 in Thistle, Utah to Frank and Elva Dalley Leek. She attended Spanish Fork High School. She married Donald D. Sturges on November 16, 1939 in Provo, Utah. Together they had three children, Patti Reynolds, Robert Sturges and Mark Sturges. She was married for 63 years and enjoyed her children, her five grandchildren, her yard, shopping, and her church activity. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for 60 years. She is survived by her husband, Donald D. Sturges, daughter Patti Anne Reynolds, sons Robert A. (Diane) Sturges, Mark R. Sturges; sister Betty Lundell; five grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Helen Hansen, Violet Bradley; brothers George, Kenneth and Donald Leek. The family wishes to thank the staff at CareSource for their loving and kind care of our mother and support to our family. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary. Friends may call from11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
