Survivors: husband, Orville; son, Rex of Lyons; daughters, Carol Dobbins of Lyons, Virginia Davidson of Abuja, Nigeria, West Africa; brother, Frank Lake of Wichita; sister, Dorothy Berg of Moundridge; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Hutchinson News; Hutchinson KS; 2000-10-27 THE HUTCHINSON NEWS - ONLINE Hutchinson, KS 27 Oct 2000 LYONS - Ethel Wilma Brown, 79, died Oct. 26, 2000, at Lyons District Hospital. She was born Sept. 21, 1921, at Rosalie, the daughter of Walter Carl and Grace Duncan Lake. A longtime resident of Lyons, she was co-owner of Ethel's Upholstery, Lyons. On May 2, 1952, she married Orville R. Brown at Benton-ville, Ark. He survives. Other survivors include: a son, Rex, Lyons; two daughters, Carol Dobbins, Lyons, and Virginia Davidson, Abuja, Nigeria, West Africa; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sillin Funeral Home, Lyons, with the Revs. Gary Karas and Ray Davidson presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lyons Municipal Cemetery.
