The Spectrum St George UT Article published Jan 30, 2006 EUNICE ROSE DARGITS St. George, Ut - Eunice Rose Lakin Iverson Dargits passed away January 27, 2006 in St. George, Utah. She was born February 2, 1913 in Winner, South Dakota to James Clark and Page O Drake Lakin. Eunice married George Friesen and they later divorced. On March 29, 1941 she married Floyd James Iverson in Prescott, Arizona and in 1992 Floyd preceded her in death. She married Charles Milton Dargits on June 8, 1992 and he preceded her in death on November 21, 1996. Eunice was a member of the LDS Church. She lived most of her life in Maywood, Downy and Riverside, California and moved to St. George, Utah in 1973. She enjoyed reading novels and doing crossword puzzles. For the past year she appreciated living at Sterling Court and enjoyed their activites. She is survived by her son, Scott (Winnie) Iverson of St. George, two step-grandchildren; Stacy Todd (Kimberly) Evans, Cindy Lou (Michael) Hobbs; 11 step-great grandchildren and special friends, Alan Love, Florence Boulton, and Virgil and Pam Bice and their daughters, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2006, 11 a.m., St. George City Cemetery, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held on Thursday, 10-10:30 a.m., Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd., prior to the services. Condolences may be sent to the family through the Metcalf website at www.metcalfmortuary.com.
