(11/15/08) in Waverly. Born to the late William and Louise Gernstein.
Survived by: daughters, Pat Asche, Lincoln; Janet Johnson, Auburn,
Kan.; daughter-in-law, Ellen Lake, Columbus; six grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren.  Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday (11/19/08), St. John's
Lutheran Church, Leigh.  Interment: Leigh City Cemetery. Visitation: 4
p.m. - 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home; and on hour prior to service
Wednesday at the church. Family prayer service 15 min. Prior to church
service. Gass Haney Funeral Home, Columbus, is in charge of arrangements.

11/19 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Leigh, NE, with
Pastor Theresa Meyer officiating.  Interment will be in the Leigh City
Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tues. from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the
