STEWART, Evelyn Verl (LAKIN)

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003, in Holman,
Hankins, Bowker & Waud for Evelyn Verl Stewart, who died July 31 at
age 89.

Evelyn Verl Lakin was born June 1, 1914, in Milwaukie, She was a chef
for The Castle Restaurant, where she worked for 34 years. She married
Ralph E., he died in 1982.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon V. Fifer and Lynn L. Gordon;
sister, Helen Peterson; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;
and three great-great-grandchildren.
