Times-Herald Middletown, NY 30 Mar 2010 Everett G. Garrison Middletown, NY Everett G. Garrison of Middletown died Sunday, March 28, 2010 peacefully at his residence. He was 87. Everett was born in Bullville, NY on August 21, 1922, the son of the late Franklyn O. and Elizabeth Vogt Garrison. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a Sergeant in World War II and The Korean Conflict. He owned and operated Garrison Bros Excavating, Middletown. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and served as a commissioner for Mechanicstown Fire District. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, May Imogene Buckmaster Garrison, at home; three daughters: Patricia J. Weis of Colorado Springs, CO, Jo Ann and her husband, Harold Helmeyer of Stormville, and Denise E. and her husband, Paul Robertson of Stokesdale, NC; four sons: Gregg E. Garrison and his wife, Sharon of Port St. Lucie, FL, Michael W. Garrison of Ephrata, PA, Shawn L. Garrison and Kevin W. Garrison of Middletown. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Garrison. Friends are invited to call Wednesday, March 31, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Morse Funeral Home, Inc., 33 Railroad Ave., Middletown. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. with The Reverend Jack Lor officiating.
